Cruising Kitchens is honored to announce the completion of another mobile kitchen for H-E-B. The latest project consisted of the build out and conversion of a 57’ utility trailer into a mobile kitchen that will be used to help communities in times of crisis. The completed trailer has fifteen skillets, four double stack convection ovens, and a stainless steel prep table that will allow H-E-B to prepare and serve food in mass quantities. In addition to brand new equipment, the trailer has been outfitted with custom shelving, which will provide plenty of storage space to transport food and water to those affected by natural disasters. This trailer is the second 57’ mobile kitchen and the third overall build that Cruising Kitchens has made for H-E-B. It will soon join their impressive fleet of Disaster Relief Units and Mobile Kitchens that are prepped for any emergency event.

The mobile kitchen will aid in disaster relief efforts and reflects H-E-B’s Helping Here philosophy of staying active and committed to the communities around them. Going mobile has made it possible for H-E-B to offer services to those affected by Hurricane Harvey and various other devastating natural disasters. Additionally, the equipment that makes up the extensive kitchen is designed to serve up to 2,500 meals per hour and supply hot meals to first responders and storm victims. Cruising Kitchens is pleased to present another build to H-E-B and is proud to contribute to their charitable cause.
