If you couldn’t get enough of the Rags to Riches reality show: Built for Business, featuring Cameron and Kaycee Davies, you won’t have to wait long for the second installment. Based on the success of season 1, which will re-air all six episodes on Motor Trend TV beginning October 8th, 2020, the show has been renewed for a second season, currently scheduled to begin airing November 19th, 2020.
Before taking a look ahead, let’s look back at how far Cameron, Kaycee and the Cruising Kitchens team have come in such a short amount of time.
Cameron Davies started Cruising Kitchens with an “everything in-house” mentality, and that has carried over to his various businesses, including the TV show. After filming Blue Collar Backers with Discovery channel, he knew he wanted to self-produce his next venture into television in order to have complete creative control. After searching for networks that were willing to host the show on his terms, he found Motor Trend TV. With approval to air Built for Business on their network, he hand selected the in-house production team, being led by San Antonio’s own Bryan Ramirez, who has multiple film and television credits to his name. Now being able to showcase his businesses, crew members, and local San Antonio talent the way he desired, film production went into overdrive. Even though it was his first time self-producing, he and his dream team churned out season 1, while simultaneously running five other businesses (three of which were created in less than a year)! If you think that’s far-fetched, you may find it hard to believe season 2 is being produced, edited, and will begin airing only one month after the end of season 1.
Built for Business, season 2, will feature a star-studded cast with special guest appearances by beloved brands and their A-List ambassadors. You can expect more outlandish ideas, even more intricate designs, grander reveals, and the utmost unconventional love amongst the Cruising Kitchens family.
